Background and Education

Dr. Epstein received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit. He trained in general surgery at the Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago and returned to Detroit for his Plastic Surgery fellowship. He received additional cosmetic surgery training at the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital in New York and has held an academic position at the University of Chicago’s Department of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Epstein has received critical acclaim for his advanced techniques in cosmetic surgery and was voted one of the "Top 5 Hot Doctors" in Chicago by The Chicago Tribune.

Besides spending time with his family, Dr. Epstein enjoys his off-hours playing tennis, attending concerts, playing the drums, and cheering on the Michigan Wolverines.

I believe plastic surgery combines art, science, and surgical medicine. Through my profession in plastic surgery, I can improve a person’s quality of life by repairing a physical and functional deficit and reshaping or restoring facial elements.
